PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN HANDSANITIZER MENGGUNAKAN ANTISEPTIK ALAMI DAUN SIRIH MERAH TERHADAP WARGA RT 02 RW 09 KEPOLOREJO, MAGETAN

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak is a serious epidemic that must be related to the Indonesian people, as a result of this outbreak caused by a scarcity of supplies of hands needed by the community. Natural handsanitizer from red betel leaves can provide a solution related to the dangers posed by handsanitizers used alcohol because red betel leaves contain essential oils. In addition, red betel leaves have antibacterial activity which is usually caused by bacterial infections such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus auerus. This community service program aims to provide natural and practical solutions to protect hands from germs when soap and water are not available. In addition, it also provides optimization of the benefits of red betel leaf in making handsanitizer as an antibacterial agent. This activity was held in the community of RT.2 RW.9 Kepolorejo, Magetan. Training on making handsanitizers using natural antiseptic red betel leaves which is very easy and inexpensive can increased people's interest in reaching out. The manufacturing process is also uploaded to social media, namely the WhatsApp application so that residents can practice on their own
