Information For Readers

Beyond Words is a peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on the current issues in language education and applied linguistics. The first area, language education, includes the practices of language teaching, especially issues pertaining to the curriculum, the syllabuses and the practices of instructed language learning (language instructions), and assessment. The second area, applied linguistics, covers issues in discourse analysis, translation studies, and language as a means of communication in general. Beyond Words is especially interested in the interconnected network of language, education, culture, and society
